Westford Earth Month 2026 is a series of events occurring in Westford, Massachusetts throughout April. It expands on the tradition of Earth Day. Given the climate crisis, we need more attention and activism than ever. Climate change is a global issue but the work starts locally.
Frontline Documentary Presented in Westford
Wednesday, April 22nd from 7:30 to 9:30 pm
Please join us for this important film. Our screening will take place on Wednesday, April 22 at 7:30 pm at the First Parish Church United in Westford, 48 Main Street. The film will be followed by a Q&A. This event is free as it is being generously co-sponsored by the Friends of the J.V. Fletcher Library, First Parish Church United, Sustainable Westford, League of Women Voters of Westford and Westford’s Clean Energy and Sustainability Committee. Refreshments will be served. Donations will be welcome.

No registration is required for these walks. All walks will run rain or shine. Dogs on leash welcome. Trails are not suitable for strollers. Poison Ivy may occur along the trails; long pants and socks are recommended. Maps of all these areas are available at the Trust’s website..

Trail Entrance: Between #15 and #17 Buckingham Drive.
You’re invited to the first of four April 2026 Earth Month hikes, sponsored by Westford Climate Action and Westford Conservation Trust. Please join Trust director Gerry DiBello to explore the Beaver Brook trails from the end of Buckingham Drive. Trail highlights include raised earth features created by nature and by man that rise above Beaver Brook. Learn how Westford was shaped into the landforms we’ve come to admire. Sociable dogs on leash are welcome. Your trail guide will meet you at the Buckingham Drive trailhead. The walk is free of charge and no sign-up is required. Parking: End of Sawmill Road
Meet Trust President Rich Strazdas at the end of Sawmill Drive. Explore this lovely, hilly trail which includes the famous “House and Barn” rocks, the largest glacial erratic rocks in Middlesex County.
Join Trust Director Andy Mallio for a walk on the Stepinski Trails from American Legion Field, between 13 and 17 River Road. This is a beautiful, easy walk along Stony Brook.
Join Trust Director Mark Minnucci, for a hilly walk on beautiful Cider Mill Conservation Land. Park on Kirsi Circle, (between 16 and 18)
